Landmark Basketball Postseason Matchups Are Set

MADISON, N.J. - After the conclusion of the Landmark basketball regular season this past Saturday, the matchups for the postseason are now set. Postseason play will begin with semifinals in men's and women's basketball on Wednesday Feb. 24, followed by the Championship games on Saturday Feb. 27. This will mark the first year the winners of the Landmark basketball postseason will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

On the men's side USMMA finished with a 12-2 record to earn the top seed and the right to host a semifinal. The Mariners will face fourth seed Susquehanna at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night. Two-time defending champions Scranton will also host a semifinal as the second seed, and the Royals will face third seed Catholic at 7:30 p.m. in Scranton.

For the women, Moravian became the first Landmark basketball team, men or women, to post an unbeaten regular season in conference play as the Greyhounds went 14-0 to earn the number one seed. The Greyhounds will welcome fourth seed Susquehanna for a semifinal at 7 p.m. Scranton will also be the site for a women's semifinal on Wednesday when the second seed Royals host third seed Juniata.

The championship games on Saturday will be at the site of the highest remaining seed, with game times to be determined.
