On Tuesday, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy softball team earned its second and third victories of the season in a doubleheader sweep of Lehman College at South Field in Bronx, N.Y. The final score of the first game was 11-0 in favor of the Mariners, while the second contests decision read 18-6. With the two triumphs, the Mariners improved to 3-4 on the year. Following the losses, the Lightning fell to 0-2 overall.

Two Landmark Athletes Earn All-America Honors On Day One Of NCAA Championships

The Moravian College women's indoor track & field team had two competitors on the first day of the 2010 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships being hosted by DePauw (IN) University. Senior Symonne Scott and freshman Micah Leonard both competed in the long jump, and both competitors earned All-America honors with top eight finishes.
