Drew Will Face Host Kean In NCAA Baseball Regional

The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee announced this morning the 56 teams that will compete in the 2012 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship. Recipients of an automatic berth, Drew University, will take on Kean University on Wednesday at FirstEngergy Park in Lakewood, N.J. at 7:45 p.m.

Two Landmark Baseball Players Honored For Academics

Seniors pitcher Brendan Close (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom HS) and designated hitter/outfielder Austin Rock (Arlington, Va./Flour Bluff {Texas} HS) have been named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District IV College Division Baseball First Team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Walk Off Sends Cardinals To ECAC Title

With its second walk-off win in as many days, CUA claimed the 2012 ECAC South championship on Sunday by downing Neumann 5-4. The Cardinals dropped the day's first game 2-1 to the Knights, before tournament MVP Nina Curto scored on Monica Peters' sac fly to win the winner take-all nightcap.
