    TOWSON, Md. – Following the completion of the 2017-18 NCAA Division III competition season, all eight Landmark institutions ranked in the Learfield Director’s Cup standings, led by the University of Scranton, finishing 111th out of 323 eligible institutions with 179.50 total points. Schools must have competed in an NCAA Championship even during the academic year in order to compile points in the standings.

    Bel Air, Md. — The Catholic University of America baseball team played a back-and-forth opening NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional game against No. 23 Babson on Thursday at Harford Community College Sports Complex. The two teams traded the lead seven times in the final four frames but it was the Beavers who came out on top with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth.
