Player of the Year - Jay Howard, Catholic

Catholic University senior forward Jay Howard is the third Cardinal to win Landmark Player of the Year accolades, joining Chris Kearney (2013) and Bryson Fonville (2015). The 6-4 Howard made the most of his senior year, leading the Cardinals to their ninth Landmark tournament appearance. Howard led the Landmark Conference in scoring (23.8 points per game) and averaged 2.2 assists per game. He became just the third player in program history to score more than 2,000 points and since the Cardinals began fielding a team in 1910, only two other players, Bob Adrion (2,289 points) and Glenn Kolonics (2,190), have scored more points.
