(Jr, F - Mountville, Pa.)
Elizabethtown junior Connor Moffatt led the Blue Jays to a 2-1 stretch over the holiday break, including an upset bid of #25 Scranton this past Saturday. Moffatt shot better than 60 percent in two of the three contests and averaged .576 over the three games. He shot 9-for-13 at John Jay on Dec. 30 in a 67-55 win and hit 5 of his 8 three-point attempts and ended with 26 points and 16 rebounds. Against nationally-ranked Scranton, Moffatt grabbed a defensive board with six seconds left, dribbled across half court and on the run, launched a shot that swished through the net as time expired to give E-town its first Landmark win of the season, 67-64. Moffatt averaged 16.7 ppg and 11.7 rpg for the Jays over his last three.
