Landmark Announces Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Team

MADISON, N.J. – Following a highly-competitive season in which numerous games were decided by two goals or fewer a total of 26 student-athletes have been selected to the 2009 All-Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Team as voted by the conference’s seven head coaches. The All-Landmark Team includes a first and second team, and the voting was done by position and concluded before the start of the Landmark postseason.

Drew University placed a Landmark high six players on the team, all of them on the All-Landmark first team. Goucher College had five honorees, while Landmark Champion United States Merchant Marine Academy claimed four spots. One of the first team choices was senior attackman Brennan Dougherty who was recognized as the Landmark Player of the Year, while USMMA Head Coach Tom Gill and his staff were honored as the Coaching Staff of the Year. Goucher freshman Kyle Boncaro was voted as the Landmark Rookie of the Year. All seven Landmark men’s lacrosse programs earned at least one representative on the team.
