In the six games leading up to the 2011 Landmark Conference postseason tournament, Goucher goalkeeper Connor Mishaw put up some eye-popping numbers as he tended the goal for Goucher: 43 goals allowed and 96 saves for a 7.04 goals against average and a .691 save percentage.

Susquehanna Earns First Landmark Win Of Season
A solid performance on both ends of the field from the Susquehanna men’s lacrosse team gave the Crusaders a 9-5 win at Scranton on Saturday afternoon. The victory was SU’s first Landmark win of the season and marked the team’s second-straight victory.

After falling behind in the first half, the Ranger defense pitched a second-half shutout enabling Drew (6-4) to defeat Swarthmore, 9-5 this evening. Sophomore Scott Humphreys (Newark, Del/Sanford School) netted four goals including three in the final 30 minutes pace the Ranger offense.

Catholic Lacrosse Prevails In Overtime
Brendan Englert's goal with 1:28 remaining in overtime lifted the Cardinals to a thrilling 9-8 win at Susquehanna (5-4) on Saturday afternoon. CUA (9-3) trailed the Crusaders 7-4 entering the fourth quarter but the Cardinals outscored Susquehanna 4-1 in the final 15 minutes of regulation to force the extra session.

Crusaders Snare One-Goal Victory
The Susquehanna men’s lacrosse team edged Lebanon Valley 8-7 to remain a perfect 3-0 at home and 4-1 overall. During a game in which neither team led by more than two goals, it was the Crusaders who used two fourth-quarter scores to come away with the win.

Behind a 9-0 scoring run that spanned the first and second quarters, CUA ran its win streak to four with a 15-9 victory over York (4-2) on Wednesday afternoon. Jimmy Sinnott scored five goals for the Cardinals (6-1), and Brendan Englert, Bobby Kusbit and Chris Fuccillo registered hat tricks.

Mariners Ride Gray's Offense To Victory
On Monday night, the United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s lacrosse team defeated Mount Ida College, 14-4 in Bayville, N.Y. for its first home victory of 2011. With the win, the Mariners improved their record to 2-3. Following the loss, the Mustangs fell to 0-3 on the season.

Mariners Collect First Win of New Season
On Sunday, the United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s lacrosse squad bested DeSales University in non-conference action, 8-2 in Center Valley, Pa. for its first victory of 2011. With the win, the Mariners evened up their overall record at 1-1. Following the loss, the Bulldogs fell to 0-2 on the season.

Drew men's lacrosse opened up its 2011 campaign with a 11-4 drubbing of King's College this afternoon at Ranger Stadium. Freshman Andrew Somps (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme) scored two goals and assisted on four others in the season-opening victory.

Cardinals Open New Season With Victory
The CUA men’s lacrosse team opened its 2011 season with a 13-9 win over Marymount on Saturday evening at Washington-Lee High School. The Cardinals received five goals from Jimmy Sinnott and six points from Chris Fuccillo in winning their season opener for a fourth consecutive year.
