Four Landmark Athletes Earn Academic All-America Honors
Four Landmark Conference male student-athletes have earned selection to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America Division III At-Large Team. Three seniors and one junior were selected to the prestigious team.

Goucher, playing before a crowd of 458 in Gopher Stadium this afternoon, defeated Drew, 10-7, to capture the 2012 Landmark Conference title and secure an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship.

The Rangers advanced to their second Landmark Conference Championship game in program history with a 15-9 victory over Scranton (9-7) this evening at Ranger Stadium. The victory is the team's 13th of the season, setting a new school record for wins in a season.

Catholic Captures Key Landmark Win
CUA celebrated Senior Day on Saturday with a 14-11 win over Susquehanna inside Cardinal Stadium. The Cardinals received four goals from Chris Fuccillo and outscored the Crusaders 4-2 in the fourth quarter to improve to 9-4 overall and 3-2 in the Landmark Conference.

Drew Wins In Double Overtime Against Catholic
Drew (7-3, 3-1 Landmark) emerged victorious, 14-13 over Catholic (8-3, 2-1 Landamark) in double overtime, thanks to an unassisted goal by Steve Gentile (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Indian Hills) with 2:43 left in the second overtime. The Cardinals staged a furious second half comeback, erasing a four-goal deficit, but fell short in extra time.

Drew Holds Off Scranton In Tight Landmark Battle
Down two goals at the break, the Rangers scored four-straight goals in the second half to defeat Scranton (5-2, 1-1 Landmark), 10-8 on the road this afternoon. The win ended a three-game losing streak, improving the Rangers to 6-3 on the year and 2-1 in Landmark Conference play.

The Susquehanna men’s lacrosse team grabbed its first Landmark Conference win of the season with a 14-9 road victory against USMMA on an overcast Saturday afternoon. SU (5-4, 1-1) out-scored the Mariners (3-5, 0-2) by a 9-5 margin in the second half after leading by just one (5-4) at halftime.

The Rangers improve to 5-0, the best start in school history, with a 10-9 overtime win over Susquehanna on the road. Drew scored the game's last two goals including the game-winner with 3:16 left in overtime by sophomore Mark Barus (Jacobstown, N.J./Notre Dame).

The number of undefeated Division III men's lacrosse teams was reduced by one this afternoon when Goucher's Rory Averett (Ivyland, Pa./Council Rock North) tallied an unassisted goal 41 seconds into overtime to provide the Gophers with a 7-6 victory over Mary Washington.

In the six games leading up to the 2011 Landmark Conference postseason tournament, Goucher goalkeeper Connor Mishaw put up some eye-popping numbers as he tended the goal for Goucher: 43 goals allowed and 96 saves for a 7.04 goals against average and a .691 save percentage.
