Three Landmark Men's Soccer Players Named All-Americans

MADISON, N.J. - Three members of Landmark men's soccer teams
earned the highest individual honor of All-American as selected to
the National Soccer Coaches Association Division All-America Team.
This marks the first year the Landmark placed more than one player
on the All-America Team.
The NSCAA All-America Team consists of three teams, with at least
13 players on each team. Catholic University senior Matt Brady
earned first team honors, while USMMA placed senior Clint Foster on
the second team and senior Kyle Kempinski on the third team.
Brady led the CUA squad to the first National Tournament appearence
in the program's history. He also led the Landmark Conference and
the CUA team in scored goals, and was tied for first on the
Cardinal squad for assists this season. Brady finished the season
among the top fifty men's soccer players in the country for points
and (.74) goals per game (.57). He was also named to the
All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team and First Team All-Landmark for
his outstanding efforts in his final season with the Cardinals.
Foster was named a Second Team All-American as a forward. He
finished the season with a total of 30 points to lead the Landmark
Conference. Foster also finished first in assists with eight,
second in goals with 11 and had three game winning goals. For his
efforts in the conference Foster was named Landmark Offensive
Conference Player of the Year.
Kempinski was voted a Third Team All-American as a defender. On the
season he recorded two goals and helped the Mariners defense that
only allowed 15 goals. The Mariners defense also registered seven
shutouts on the year. As a strong defender, Kempinski was named
First Team All-Landmark for the season.
The Landmark qualified two teams to the NCAA Tournament for the
second-consecutive season, and also had a team earn an ECAC
postseason Championship.
