TOWSON, Md. - Both the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) and D3soccer.com announced updated rankings on Tuesday. Susquehanna was ranked 20th and 13th respectively while Scranton is 25th in the D3soccer.com poll.

Susquehanna has racked up a program-best 15 victories and has tied a program record with nine shutouts. The Crusaders clinched the No. 1 seed in the Landmark Conference postseason tournament after defeating Moravian 4-0 and having a series of tiebreakers fall its way. SU is now preparing to host No. 4 seed Drew (11-5-2, 4-3-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m. The game had originally been scheduled for Oct. 31 before Hurricane Sandy pushed all tournament games back one day.

The Royals, who are 14-1-2, are riding a two-game winning streak after defeating Wilkes, 1-0, and Juniata, 4-1, last week. Scranton is enjoying its best season in head coach Matt Pivirotto's 14-year tenure and the 14 wins are the most since the team went 15-7 in 1993.

Scranton is also ranked fourth in the Mid-Atlantic region rankings by the NSCAA rankings, also released on Tuesday. The Royals trail Messiah, Swarthmore and Susquehanna in the regional rankings despite owning a victory over Susquehanna and battling to a 1-1 tie at Swarthmore earlier this season.

The Royals are also listed among the "also receiving votes" portion of the NSCAA national poll for the second straight week after climbing as high as No. 19 two weeks ago.
