Susquehanna Men's Tennis Gets Past Goucher

SELINSGROVE, Pa. –Susquehanna's men's tennis defeated Landmark Conference opponent Goucher 7-2 Tuesday afternoon. The women's match was suspended due to darkness and will be resumed at a later date.

In singles action, Mats Haaland (Brunswick, Maine / Brunswick) beat Pat Murnin 6-1, 6-0. Grant Uber (Biglerville, Pa. / Biglerville) defeated Daniel Csete 6-1, 6-1. Alec Green (Media, Pa. / Strath Haven) beat Seth Manfield 4-6, 6-0, (10-5) and Matt Quadrini (Escondido, Calif. / Brunswick (Maine)) was victorious over Thomas Adair 6-1, 6-4.

In doubles, the combination of Michael Hickey (Yarmouth, Maine / Yarmouth) and Garrett Lynn (Glastonbury, Conn. / Glastonbury) won 8-3. Haaland and Quadrini won 8-3. Green and Uber defeated their opponent 8-1.

SU improves to 1-1 in conference action.

Women's tennis plays Lebanon Valley today at 3:30 p.m. while men's tennis hosts Landmark opponent Merchant Marine on Saturday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m.
