      <title>Landmark Announces Spring Senior Scholar Athletes</title>

      <description>The Landmark Conference has selected eight student-athletes as Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes for their respective spring sports. A committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors and sports information directors selected the recipients, choosing one senior from each of the spring sports sponsored by the conference. The honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and are selected based on their accomplishments in all areas of college life including athletics, academics and other extracurricular activities.</description>

The split gives CUA a berth in the Landmark Conference tournament in the fourth spot which will be played next weekend at Moravian.</description>

      <description>The Drew softball team earned sort of a sweep against the United States Merchant Marine Academy.  Drew won the first game, 9-2, behind a well pitched game from Lauren Collini and a grand slam by Katie Mulligan.  In the second game, Drew rallied for three runs in bottom of the seventh to tie it at 4-4, but neither team scored for the next three innings before the game was called due to darkness.  Drew is now 15-14-1 on the season and 4-3-1 in the Landmark Conference.</description>

      <description>Drew softball swept the College of Staten Island in the Rangers' home openers on Monday.  April Jacobs twirled her second straight gem and some big time hitting got Drew a 7-4 win in the nightcap.  Jacobs went all five innings giving up just two hits as Drew won the first game 8-0.  The Rangers (9-9) got two more homeruns today, one each from Jesyka Marko and Kati Eggert.</description>
