Landmark Swimmers Collect Academic Honors
Seven Landmark swimming & diving teams along with three individual performers have earned All-Academic distinction from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.

Landmark Honors Six Winter Sport Senior Scholar Athletes
The Landmark Conference has selected six athletes as Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes for their respective winter sports. The honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and are selected based on their accomplishments in all areas of college life including athletics, academics and other extracurricular activities.

Landmark Announces Winter All-Academic Team
The Landmark Conference has announced the selection of 32 student-athletes to the 2010 Winter Landmark All-Academic Team. Two male and two female athletes from each of the eight Landmark institutions were selected for the team which honors athletes who have excelled athletically and academically.

Landmark Releases Winter Academic Honor Roll
The Landmark Conference has recognized 264 student-athletes by selecting them for the 2010 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. The honorees were selected from all eight Landmark Conference institutions.

Susquehanna University’s junior swimmer Christie Savard (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) will appear in the March 8, 2010, issue of Sports Illustrated, expected to hit newsstands on either Wednesday or Thursday, March 3 or 4.

USMMA Men's Swimming Finishes Second At Metropolitan Championships
The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men’s swimming and diving team finished second overall in team points with 1,121.5 on Sunday, which concluded the three-day Metropolitan Championships this weekend at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center at Rutgers University. The College of New Jersey finished atop the men’s scoreboard with 1,528 points.

After three days of competition the results from the 2010 Landmark Swimming & Diving Championship looked a lot like those of the previous two editions of the meet as the United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s team and The University of Scranton women’s team each earned their third consecutive Landmark Swimming & Diving Championship.

The University of Scranton women’s team and the United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s team will look to continue the success of the first two seasons while six other women’s teams and five men’s teams will try and unseat them as champions when competition begins at the the three-day Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships Friday Feb. 12. The three-day event will be held in O’Hara Hall on the campus of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.

Juniata Splits Tri-Meet To Give O'Donnell Her First Win
The Juniata College womens' swim team defeated Hood College 46 to 42, Saturday at Penn State Altoona's Tri-meet against Hood College and Penn State Altoona, giving Head Coach Lauren O'Donnell her first win of her career.

USMMA Men's Swimming Ties Nationally-Ranked Foe
The United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s swimming and diving team tied #17 ranked Stevens Institute of Technology this evening, 147-147. The Mariners record goes to 6-2-1 while the Ducks go to 6-0-1.

Goucher Women Close Regular Season With Tri-Meet Win
Britt Hogstrom (Killington, Vt./Woodstock Union) and Lindsey Phillipson-Weiner (Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) not only placed first in a pair of individual events apiece, but both were on Goucher's victorious 200-yard free relay, helping the Gophers come away from this afternoon's triangular meet against two other Landmark Conference schools with the two wins they needed to finish at .500.

USMMA And Scranton Swimming Each Take Wins In Battle Of Defending Champions
The United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s swimming and diving team defeated Landmark Conference opponent the University of Scranton, 126-76. A variety of Mariners had strong swims on the day along with season best times. On the women's side The University of Scranton returned to action for the first time since November 21 and won 9 of 11 events en route to a 93-71 victory over the United States Merchant Marine Academy Saturday afternoon at the Byron Center.

Scranton Sweeps Susquehanna In Landmark Dual Meet
The University of Scranton downed Susquehanna University, 157-105, Saturday afternoon at the Byron Center. Meanwhile on the men's side Scranton overcame a 3-point deficit after seven events to pull out a 149-113 victory over Susquehanna.

Susquehanna Swim Teams Sweep Lycoming
Susquehanna University's freshmen Taylor Cole (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) and Griffin Kearney (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) both won two individual events and partnered to help post a fastest relay time, as visiting Susquehanna (4-0) topped Lycoming College (0-3), 118-85, in a men's swimming meet on Nov. 11.
