Men's Athlete of the Week - Guillaume Gouronc, Elizabethtown
Men's Athlete of the Week Guillaume Gouronc Elizabethtown (Sr., Bouc-Bel-Air, France) Elizabethtown College senior Guillaume Gouronc won a pair of individual events and was second in another and swam a leg on a winning relay as E-town won big at Gallaudet on Saturday, 209-35, in their final dual meet of the season. Gouronc won both breaststroke events, the 100 and 200, was the second leg of the winning 200 medley relay to start the meet, and placed second in the 200 IM for the Blue Jays.
Women's Athlete of the Week - Stephanie Cushman, Drew
Women's Athlete of the Week Stephanie Cushman Drew (Jr., Brick, N.J.) Drew University junior Stephanie Cushman contributed to three victories, helping the Rangers defeat Ramapo 120-85 in Drew's final dual meet of the season. She opened the meet by swimming the leadoff backstroke leg of the winning 200-medley relay team (1:55.96). Cushman went on to win both the 200-IM (2:22.18) and the 100-backstroke (1:01.40), winning by nearly four seconds in the former and over three seconds in the latter.
