Swimmers & Divers Ready To Compete At Third Landmark Swimming & Diving Championships
The University of Scranton womens team and the United States Merchant Marine Academy mens team will look to continue the success of the first two seasons while six other womens teams and five mens teams will try and unseat them as champions when competition begins at the the three-day Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships Friday Feb. 12. The three-day event will be held in OHara Hall on the campus of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.

Goucher Women Close Regular Season With Tri-Meet Win
Britt Hogstrom (Killington, Vt./Woodstock Union) and Lindsey Phillipson-Weiner (Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) not only placed first in a pair of individual events apiece, but both were on Goucher's victorious 200-yard free relay, helping the Gophers come away from this afternoon's triangular meet against two other Landmark Conference schools with the two wins they needed to finish at .500.

USMMA And Scranton Swimming Each Take Wins In Battle Of Defending Champions
The United States Merchant Marine Academy mens swimming and diving team defeated Landmark Conference opponent the University of Scranton, 126-76. A variety of Mariners had strong swims on the day along with season best times. On the women's side The University of Scranton returned to action for the first time since November 21 and won 9 of 11 events en route to a 93-71 victory over the United States Merchant Marine Academy Saturday afternoon at the Byron Center.
