Moravian Women's Soccer Coach Accepts Position At Lehigh
Eric Lambinus, Moravian Colleges head womens coach for the past 11 seasons, has resigned his position Tuesday to accept the same position at NCAA Division I Lehigh University beginning on February 15th.

Landmark Honors Fall Senior Scholar Athletes
The Landmark Conference has selected six athletes as Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes for their respective fall sports. A committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors and sports information directors selected the recipients, choosing one senior from each of the fall sports sponsored by the conference. The honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and are selected based on their accomplishments in all areas of college life including athletics, academics and other extracurricular activities. The award is the most exclusive awarded by the Conference with just 20 honorees for each academic year.

Scranton's Chelsea Paskman Earns All-America Honors
Its been quite a week for Chelsea Paskman (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South), a junior midfielder on The University of Scranton womens soccer team. Today, she was named second-team all-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), just 48 hours after being named first-team all-Mid-Atlantic region by the same organization.

Landmark Earns Five Spots On Women's Soccer All-Region Teams
The Landmark Conference placed five women's soccer players on the 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region Team from the Mid-Atlantic Region which was announced early this month. It marks the second-straight year the Landmark has collected five All-Region selections.

Landmark Announces President's All-Sports Cup Fall Standings
For the second time in as many year Susquehanna University has jumped to the top of the Landmark Presidents All Sports Cup standings after the fall sports season. With six of the Landmarks 20 sports having completed their seasons, Susquehanna leads the standings with a score of 7.33. Juniata College sits in second place with 6.67 points while The Catholic University is a narrow .17 points back in third with a score of 6.5. Rounding out the top half of the standings is The University of Scranton with 5.5 points.

Landmark Releases Fall All-Academic Team
The Landmark Conference has announced the selection of 32 student-athletes to the 2009 Fall Landmark All-Academic Team. Two male and two female athletes from each of the eight Landmark institutions were selected for the team which honors athletes who have excelled athletically and academically. Nominees could compete in any of the Landmark fall sports and must be a sophomore or older with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Landmark Selects Women's Soccer All-Conference Team
Twenty-four student-athletes have been selected to the 2009 All-Landmark Conference Womens Soccer team as voted by the conferences seven head coaches. The All-Landmark Team includes a first and second team with 12 honorees on each team, with the selections being made by position. The voting for the All-Conference Team took place after the conclusion of the regular season and prior to the start of the Landmark postseason.

Landmark Sending Five Teams To NCAA Tournaments
Five Landmark Conference fall sport teams will represent the conference in 2009 NCAA Division III Tournament play beginning Wednesday Nov. 11. With Landmark Champions earning automatic bids for the first time, the champions in field hockey, mens soccer, womens soccer and volleyball all earned bids, while one other Landmark team was selected to the field as an at-large participant.

Catholic Outlasts Susquehanna For Women's Soccer Landmark Crown
Junior forward Kelly Donnelly (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) scored in the 67th minute as the Catholic University Womens Soccer team defeated Susquehanna University 1-0 to capture the 2009 Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon. The top seeded Cardinals, now 17-2-1, claim their first Landmark title and will advance to their second NCAA Tournament.

Landmark Teams Remain In NCAA Rankings As Postseason Play Begins
With Landmark postseason play beginning to determine the conference's first automatic qualifiers, a handful of conference teams remained in good position in the NCAA Regional Rankings released Wednesday. These are the final regional rankings that will be released before the NCAA Division III Tournament fields will be released Sunday Nov. 8 and Monday Nov. 9.

Catholic Claims Another Comeback Win
The Catholic University women's soccer team earned a 3-2 victory over Scranton University in round one of the Landmark Conference Championships at Cardinal Stadium Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 16-2-1, and will play for the Landmark title on Saturday afternoon.

One great goal and an outstanding defensive display led Drew womens soccer to a 1-0 win and a home game in the Landmark Conference playoffs next week. Emily Weidas 48th minute proved the game winner and helped Drew clinch its first appearance in the conference tournament.
