Four Landmark Volleyball Players Earn All-Region Nods
The Landmark Conference was represented with four of the 14 selections to the 2011 American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team released today.

Moravian Volleyball Sweeps ECAC Opener
The fourth seeded Moravian College women’s volleyball team defeated fifth seeded Neumann University in the Quarterfinals of the ECAC Division III South Tournament 3-0. Freshman outside hitter Taylor Jennings led the way for the Greyhounds, knocking down 11 kills to go with six digs and one block.

Juniata Volleyball Begins Regional Play Friday At Neumann
Juniata College women's volleyball will depart for its 31st consecutive NCAA Championship run and will first meet Cabrini College on Friday, Nov. 11 at 3:00 p.m., in the first round of the Mid-Atlantic Regional in Aston, Pa.

Conference Title Run Continues For Juniata Volleyball
Juniata College women's volleyball took a little longer than usual on its way to a 31st consecutive conference championship, but eventually disposed of Susquehanna University, 3-1, in Saturday night's Landmark Conference Women's Volleyball Tournament championship match at the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center.

Twenty-Fifth Win Sends Catholic To Landmark Semifinals
CUA earned its 25th win of the season on Wednesday evening, downing Goucher 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament. The Cardinals won by scores of 25-23, 25-22 and 25-5 to advance to the semifinals for the third straight season.

Susquehanna Volleyball Wins Five-Set Thriller
The Susquehanna volleyball team sent its two seniors out on a high note by capturing a five-set victory over visiting York (Pa.) on Wednesday night. Prior to the start of the match, SU honored its two senior members: Natalie Cicioni (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) and Kate Reese (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area).

Freshman Julia Crilly (Rochester, NY/Aquinas Institute) and junior Jenell McFadden (Springfield, Pa./Merion Mercy Academy) combined for 28 kills and 27 digs to lead The University of Scranton to its fifth straight win, a 3-1 decision over Marywood University Thursday evening at the Long Center.

Cardinals Hit The Road For 19th Win
The Cardinals earned their 19th victory of the season on Wednesday evening by downing Lancaster Bible 3-1. Game scores were 28-26, 22-25, 25-13 and 25-11 as CUA moved to within one win of notching its third consecutive 20-win season.

Behind a combined 19 kills and 13 digs from junior outside hitter Jenell McFadden and freshman outside hitter Julia Crilly, The University of Scranton volleyball team won its second straight and fifth in its last six matches by downing Baptist Bible College, 3-0, Tuesday evening at the Long Center.

Krasley Reaches Milestone In Moravian Win
The Moravian College women’s volleyball defeated Penn State-Berks Thursday night, 3-1 (25-11, 23-25, 25-17, 25-23). Junior Jesse Krasley moved into third all-time in career digs, with 29 digs in tonight’s game. She now has 1,340 for her career.

Cardinals Volleyball Continues To Roll
CUA ran its winning streak to nine straight on Saturday with a pair of wins over Marymount and Misericordia inside the DuFour Center. The Cardinals downed the Saints 3-1 (26-24, 24-26, 25-22, 25-17), before taking down the Cougars in straight sets in the nightcap (25-16, 25-18, 25-4).
