Three Cross Country Athletes Heading To NCAA Championships
Three Landmark Conference men's cross country performers have earned the right to compete at the 2011 NCAA Division III Championships, while a total of seven Landmark runners claimed All-Region honors after NCAA Regionals held on Saturday.

Crusaders Run Well In Final Landmark Tuneup
Saturday’s Gettysburg Invitational marked the final meet before the Susquehanna men’s and women’s cross country teams compete at the Landmark Conference championships on Oct. 29. The men’s team finished seventh while the women came in 13th with both teams battling muddy course conditions and gusty winds.

Lutcza Paces Greyhounds At Dickinson Invite
The Moravian College men's cross country team returned to action Saturday at the Dickinson College Long-Short Invitational after two weeks off, and the Greyhounds finished fourth out of 21 teams in the 8,000-meter long-course. Moravian did not compete in the 6,000-meter short-course race.

Kent Thompson Named Catholic Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Coach
Kent Thompson has been named Catholic University's Head Men's Cross Country and Track and Field Coach, it was recently announced. Thompson comes to CUA from nearby American University, where he has served as the Assistant Cross Country and Track Coach for 10 years.

Juniata Is Tops In Women's Cross Country Preseason Poll
Three previous Landmark Champions hold the top three spots with first-ever Landmark title holders Juniata College holding the top position in the 2011 edition of the Landmark Preseason Women’s Cross Country Poll. The head women’s cross country coaches and sports information directors at each institution that sponsors the sport were polled for the preseason ballot.
