    Three Landmark Conference fall teams have earned bids to their respective NCAA Division III Tournaments. NCAA Tournament play will begin on Wednesday in field hockey with volleyball following on Thursday and soccer kicking off on Saturday.

    Juniata College forward and Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) scored with 1:05 remaining in regulation to lift the 13th-ranked Eagles to a 2-1 win over Catholic University, in the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Tournament championship game Saturday afternoon in Washington, D.C.

    Four Landmark Conference Team Championships will be decided on Saturday as the newly-formed conference completes its first season of competition. Championship matches will be held in field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball at the site of the highest seed remaining in the four-team postseasons.

    The Catholic Unversity field hockey squad (11-7) defeated the Goucher Gophers (3-13) in the Landmark Conference semifinal game on Wednesday at Cardinal Stadium. With the victory the top-seeded Cardinals will host the championship game on Saturday against nationally-ranked Juniata who CUA defeated earlier this year.

    The Catholic University field hockey squad clinched a berth in the Landmark Conference tournament Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 victory over the Moravian Greyhounds (7-6, 2-3 Landmark). Two goals from Michele Repass (Poolesville, Md./Poolesville) gave CUA the edge. The Cards improve to 9-6 on the season and 4-1 in conference play.
