    TOWSON, Md. – Catholic University senior Tarah Portland, and Juniata senior Sarah Bilheimer earned All-America status Longstreth and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its DIII All-American Teams on Monday morning. Portland, who earned Longstreth/NFHCA All-Region First team accolades, was selected to the All-America Third Team, while Bilheimer was named to the Second Team.

    TOWSON, Md. – Six Landmark field hockey players were among the 35 named to the 2015 Longstreth/NFHCA All-South Atlantic Region Teams Monday morning. Catholic’s Tarah Portland and Analisa Scott, along with Elizabethtown’s Jacalyn Hikes, Juniata’s Sarah Bilheimer, and Scranton’s Jessica Pankey, were named First Team selections. Elizabethtown’s Alyssa Aichele was a Second Team honoree.

Juniata’s Sarah Bilheimer was voted Player of the Year, and Scranton’s Jessica Pankey was named Defensive Player of the Year. Catholic’s Lane Adams was named Rookie of the Year and Catholic head coach Gia Cillizza earned her sixth Landmark Coaching Staff of the Year honor.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division III Field Hockey Committee announced today the field of 24 teams that will compete in the 2015 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship. Sixteen teams will compete in eight first-round games on campus sites Wednesday, November 11. The eight first-round winners, along with the eight teams that received a first-round bye, will compete at four campus sites during second/third-round play, Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15.

A year after falling on home turf in a conference semi, E-town controlled much of the play and scored twice in the first half as the Jays shut out Scranton 2-0 to advance to Saturday's title game.
