  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Grace Kuszmaul, Juniata
    October 30, 2017
    (So., B/M - Moorestown, N.J.) Juniata sophomore Grace Kuszmaul scored the game winning stroke against W&J and converted her stroke in the shootout win over Etown. The penalty stroke goal allowed the Eagles to claim the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Landmark Field Hockey Championships.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Marisa Martinelli, Catholic
    October 30, 2017
    (Sr., M - Eagleville, Pa.) Senior Marisa Martinelli was instrumental in Catholic's Landmark Conference Regular Season title-clinching victory over Scranton on Saturday night. The back and midfielder was seemingly all over the field in the shutout win. She anchored a defensive effort that held the Royals to just five shots on goal and was able to salt the clock late in the game with some great stick handling. She also got in on the offensive effort as she scored with a blast from the top of the circle on a penalty corner.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Meredith Campbell, Scranton
    October 16, 2017
    (Sr., F - Media, Pa.) Scranton senior Meredith Campbell continued torrid pace on the offensive end last week, as she scored four goals to help Scranton remain unbeaten at 14-0 and 5-0 in the Landmark with home wins over Drew and Juniata. In the Juniata match, she scored two goals in the first eight minutes of regulation to give Scranton a lead they would not relinquish in the Royals' first win over the Eagles in six years. With two goals and an assist against Drew, Campbell was able to break the school record for both goals in a season and total points a season, a record that stood since 1985.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kelly Cousoulis, Catholic
    October 16, 2017
    (Sr., B - Fairfield, N.J.) Catholic's senior back Kelly Cousoulis led the No. 12-ranked Cardinals to a 2-0 week that included a road shutout and another staunch away performance as Catholic allowed just one goal last week. Cousoulis played every minute of each game and amazingly helped hold both of the Cards opponents to just five shots in each game and only one on goal.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Meredith Campbell, Scranton

    (Sr., F - Media, Pa.) Scranton senior Meredith Campbell scored the eventual game-winner in Scranton's 2-1 win over Albright early in the second half, then had a first-half hat trick in a dominating 7-0 win at Susquehanna on Saturday. Her game-winner against Albright was her seventh of the 2017 season.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Marisa Martinelli, Catholic

    (Sr., B/M - Eagleville, Pa.) Catholic's senior back/midfielder Marisa Martinelli was all over the field for the Cardinals in a 2-0 week that included a nationally-ranked upset victory over No. 7 Salisbury and a Landmark win over Elizabethtown. Martinelli played every minute of both games and was instrumental in killing the clock late in the game versus the Seagulls. She also had two assists against the Blue Jays, setting up the gamewinner to sophomore Katie Anderson.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Meredith Campbell, Scranton

    (Sr., F - Media, Pa.) Scranton senior Meredith Campbell had a scorching week on the offensive end for the Royals, as Scranton improved to 10-0 on the year, the best start in program history. She broke the school record for most goals in a single game, scoring five times in a 5-3 victory over the visiting Wilkes and then on Saturday against E-Town, she scored the games lone goal in the first half, as the Royals knocked off the defending conference champs, 1-0.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jenna Cyr, Scranton
    October 02, 2017
    (Fr., G - Coopersburg, Pa.) Scranton freshman Jenna Cyr continues to have a great season in the cage for Scranton in their 10-0 start. She played the full 70 minutes agianst E-Town on Saturday, earning a shutout victory, 1-0 and made six total saves in the contest, four of which came in the final 10 minutes on a relentless E-Town attack. In all, she didn't allow a goal in 105 minutes.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Meredith Campbell, Scranton
    September 25, 2017
    (Sr., F - Media, Pa.) Scranton senior Meredith Campbell had her first hat trick of the season at Moravian on Saturday, as she tallied three first-half goals to lead the Scranton offense to a domination 7-0 win on the road in their Landmark Conference opener. At Marywood on Tuesday, she tied the match in the 62nd minute with a goal, as Scranton went on to win in come-from-behind fashion, 2-1.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Hailey Marini, Scranton
    September 25, 2017
    (Sr., M/D - Slingerlands, N.Y.) Scranton senior Hailey Marini continues to be one of the leaders on a Scranton defense that has held four opponents on the year scoreless, including Moravian on Saturday in a 7-0 win on the road in their Landmark Conference opener. Marini and the Scranton defense held Moravian to just one shot the entire match on Saturday.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Katie Anderson, Catholic
    September 18, 2017
    (So., M - Ellicott City, Md.) Catholic went a perfect 2-0 last week with an upset win at No. 18 Christopher Newport thanks, large-in-part to sophomore forward Katie Anderson. The Ellicott City, Md., native scored at CNU to help the Cardinals to the 2-1 victory and then added two more goals in a 4-1 home win over Misericordia. Anderson finished with week with three goals on six shots, putting five of them on goal for an impressive .833 shot percentage.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Sophia Hamilton, Catholic
    September 18, 2017
    (Sr., GK - Ellicott City, Md.) Catholic pulled off a nationally-ranked upset at No. 18 Christopher Newport last week as senior goalkeeper Sophie Hamilton made a career-high 15 saves against CNU to lead Catholic to the 2-1 win. She went a perfect 2-0 on the week as she also earned the victory against Misericordia. She posted a .882 save percentage over the two-game span.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Emma Christman, Elizabethtown
    September 11, 2017
    (Sr., F - Kimberton, Pa., 7) Elizabethtown senior Emma Christman scored a goal in each half of Wednesday's non-conference 2-0 win over Frostburg State. On Saturday, Christman provided the assist on the game-winning goal in the second half of E-town's 2-1 upset victory over #16 Muhlenberg. In all, she was responsible for three of the Jays' four goals in two games.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Margo Donlin, Elizabethtown
    September 11, 2017
    (Jr., G - Wilmington, Del.) Elizabethtown junior goalie allowed just one goal in 140 minutes of action this past week for the Blue Jays. She earned her second shutout of the season on Wednesday in a 2-0 win over Frostburg State, making three saves. She came back Saturday with another three saves and got the win and upset over #16 Muhlenberg.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Katie Alexander, Juniata
    September 05, 2017
    (Sr., F/M - Mifflinburg, Pa.) Juniata senior Katie Alexander scored the game-winner in the 1-0 overtime win against Bridgewater. She followed that up with an assist on the insurance goal against No. 18 Alvernia to help close out the 2-1 win.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jenna Cyr, Scranton
    September 05, 2017
    (Fr., G - Coopersburg, Pa.) In her first collegiate match and start, she made five saves in a 2-1 win for Scranton over 16th-ranked Muhlenberg on Friday. The score that she allowed came in the fifth minute, as Cyr kept the visiting Mules off the scoreboard for the next 65 minutes of the contest. She also made five saves in the contest.
