Landmark Men's Tennis All-Conference Team Announced

MADISON, N.J. – A total of 16 men's tennis players have been honored for their performances this season with selection to the 2012 All-Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Team as selected by the conference's eight head coaches. The team consists of a first and second team, with six singles players and three doubles pairings per team, and the voting took place prior to the start of the Landmark postseason.

Drew University, which completed a fifth-straight unbeaten Landmark season, leads the way with five All-Conference selections. The Rangers also have junior Raul Smego earning Player of the Year honors for a second-straight season. The University of Scranton, Drew's opponent in the upcoming Landmark Championship earned four selections and saw freshman Harry Bonet (Blue Bell, Pa./LaSalle College High School) earn Rookie of the Year honors, while Head Coach Keith Hetsko and his staff were voted Coaching Staff of the Year. The four Landmark postseason participants dominated the selections, earning all but one spot on the All-Conference Team.
