  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Ean Mann, Elizabethtown
    April 30, 2018
    (Fr., Hackcock, Md.) Elizabethtown freshman Ean Mann was a two-time individual event winner for the Blue Jays on Saturday at the Blue Jay Tune Up. He was also a member of the winning 4x100m relay. Mann won the 100m in 10.96 and the 200m in 22.28 on his home track. He helped E-town win the meet with 225 points.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Robert Condo, Moravian
    April 30, 2018
    (Sr., Bridgewater, N.J.) Moravian senior Robert Condo finished 11th in the College Men's Javelin Throw at the prestigious Penn Relays Saturday. Condo had a toss of 58.69 meters (192-6) on his second throw of the preliminaries as he took 11th of 26 throwers in the flight and was second of three NCAA Division III throwers. Condo finished ahead of 13 NCAA Division I student-athletes.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Abigail Guziewicz, Scranton
    April 30, 2018
    (So., Peckville, Pa.) Scranton sophomore Abigail won the 5,000-meter run at the Monarch Open by crossing the line in 19:37.34, the best time for the Royals this season.
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Caroline Banas, Scranton
    April 30, 2018
    (So., Dallas, Pa.) Scranton sophomore Caroline Banas continued her dominance in the high jump, matching her own Landmark Conference outdoor record by clearing 1.67 meters to win the event at the Monarch Open. She did not miss an attempt until moving the bar to 1.71 meters. She also added a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.87 seconds.
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Brian Seward, Catholic

    (Sr., Sicklerville, N.J.) Senior Brian Seward was a four-time winner at the Gallaudet Bison Invitational as he helped the Cardinals to the team win over DI George Washington, Mary Washington, the host Bison and three other squads. Seward picked three wins in the 100, 200 and 300-meter dashes as he went 11.17, 22.57 and 51.19 seconds for the victories. Seward made it four wins on the day as he was part of the 4x100 relay that crossed in 44.85 seconds along with junior Derek Chapey, sophomore Brian Aberle and junior Peter Binck.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Robert Marks, Susquehanna
    April 23, 2018
    (So., Mt. Holly, N.J.) Susquehanna sophomore Robert Marks threw his way to No. 8 in the nation and second in the region with his mark of 63.17m in the javelin. His throw also put him at the No. 1 spot in the Landmark this season and is fourth all-time in school history.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Yanibel Collado, Juniata
    April 23, 2018
    (Jr., Freeport, N.Y.) Juniata junior Yanibel Collado had an impressive week for the Eagles as she had two personal bests in two meets. At the Ship Midweek Invite, Collado ran to a first-place finish in the 3000m race with a time of 10:26.16. At the Widener Invite, she ran another personal best with her time of 4:42.94 in the 1500m.
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Andrea Galeano, Catholic
    April 23, 2018
    (Jr., Bridgeport, Conn.) The Catholic University of America women's track & field team won the Gallaudet Bison Invitational on Saturday afternoon a program and meet record toss by junior Andrea Galeano. The Cardinals racked up 150 team points to defeat six other squads including Division I George Washington, Mary Washington and the host Bison. Galeano boomed the best hammer throw in Catholic history for the win and meet record as she tossed an impressive 47.67 meters. She also went on to take second in the shot put at 10.82 meters.
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Zion Howard, Moravian
    April 16, 2018
    (Fr., Moorestown, N.J.) Moravian freshman Zion Howard was the runner-up in the 200-meter dash at the Coach P Open in 21.54 seconds which is .02 slower than his time that is in the top five in the nation, and he took third in the 100-meter dash in 10.93 seconds after the fastest preliminary time of 10.67 seconds, which is tied for fifth in the nation on the Track & Field Results Reporting System list. Howard ran the second leg of Moravian's 4x400-meter relay squad that finished fourth in 3:22.63.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Robert Condo, Moravian

    (Sr., Bridgewater, N.J.) Moravian senior Robert Condo was the runner-up in the javelin at the non-scoring Coach P Invitational with a toss of 60.50 meters (198-6) that moves him to tenth in the nation on the TFRRS list.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Maria Anderson, Elizabethtown
    April 16, 2018
    (Sr., Newark, Del.) Elizabethtown senior Maria Anderson competed in the loaded 3000m steeplechase competition on Saturday at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic. In section 2, Anderson took second behind Division I Lehigh's Miranda Royds and ended up 9th overall out of 40 competitors. Anderson's time was 11:12.63, less than a second off her personal best.
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Mary Kate Duncan, Moravian
    April 16, 2018
    (Sr., Reading, Pa.) Moravian senior Mary Kate Duncan was the runner-up in the javelin at the Coach P Open with a toss of 45.30 meters (148-7), a distance that puts the defending NCAA Division III National Champion to the top of the Track & Field Results Reporting System list in her first action of the spring.
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Brian Seward, Catholic

    (Sr., Sicklerville, N.J.) Catholic senior Brian Seward showed why he is one of the fastest men in the Landmark as he anchored two winning relay teams over two different meets. At the Johns Hopkins Invite, his relay team posted the top time in the conference this season while also setting the second-fastest 400 time and third-fastest 800 performance. At the Battleground relays, he added a second win in the 400 and added a silver in the 100.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Darby Bauer, Goucher
    April 09, 2018
    (So., Perkiomenville, Pa.) Goucher sophomore Darby Bauer broke the school's outdoor record in the hammer throw on Friday night at Johns Hopkins, then did the same thing in the discus on Saturday to etch his name in the Goucher record book in two separate events over two days. At the Hopkins meet, Bauer threw for 38.45 meters. On Saturday, the sophomore participated in three different events. In his record breaking performance, Bauer threw 37.37 meters in the discus.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Kiera Lyons, Catholic

    (Sr., Harwood, Pa.) Catholic senior Kiera Lyons had a weekend to remember as she set two different University records in back-to-back events. She first broke the school's record in the steeplechase with a time of 11:27.81 at the Johns Hopkins Invitational before breaking a program record that stood since 1986. She won the 5,000 at the Mary Washington Battleground Relays with a new top time of 18:14.49. She was victorious by over five minutes.
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Caroline Banas, Scranton
    April 09, 2018
    (So., Dallas, Pa.) Scranton sophomore Caroline Banas picked up right where she left off in the indoor season, when she earned All-American honors. She ran away with first place in the high jump at the team's first outdoor event, the Muhlenberg Invitational, on Saturday. She cleared 1.67 meters to take the title after she was the only competitor to clear 1.62 meters. She also added a sixth-place finish in the long jump.
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Zion Howard, Moravian

    (Fr., Moorestown, N.J.) Moravian freshman Zion Howard had an outstanding debut to the outdoor season at the Lafayette College 8-Way Meet. He won the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.65 seconds, the fastest overall time in the meet, and he was the runner-up in the 100-meter dash in 10.82 seconds, the second best time overall in the meet. Howard ran the second leg of Moravian's 4x400-meter relay team in a time of 3:27.87 to finish as the top DII/DIII team and the second best time in the meet.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Chris Petraskie, Susquehanna

    (So., Shamokin, Pa.) Susquehanna sophomore Chris Petraskie competed against a field of mostly Division I and II athletes from Bucknell and Saint Francis). He placed first in the high jump with a mark of 1.98m and fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.49m.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Kelsey Brady, Elizabethtown

    (Sr., Churchville, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Kelsey Brady won the 800m and was the runner-up in the 1500m last Wednesday at the York College Twilight Meet. Brady's winning time in the 800m was 2:22.39. She ran 4:44.68 in the 1500m and led E-town by scoring 18 points individually with her finishes.
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Kylie Orndorf, Juniata
    April 02, 2018
    (Jr., Milheim, Pa.) Juniata junior Kylie Orndorf's throw of 40.18m in the javelin throw finished ahead of all the DIII competitors, and ranks No. 5 in the country. It is also the third best in school history. She was second in the hammer throw for DIII competitors, 12th overall with her throw of 36.83m. Against DIII competitors, she placed second, sixth overall.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Robert Condo, Moravian

    (Sr., Bridgewater, N.J) Moravian senior Robert Condo had a winning toss of 55.56 meters (182-3) in the javelin at the University of Maryland Invitational in his first event since competing at the 2017 NCAA Division III National Championships back in May. Condo threw the distance on his opening attempt, and threw better than 50.86 meters on all six of his throws. He finished nearly 14 feet ahead of the next competitor.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Brenna McNamee, Elizabethtown

    (Sr., Downington, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Brenna McNamee made her one race this past weekend at the W&L Carnival count for the Blue Jays. McNamee won the 5,000-meter in 17:51.67 by 31 seconds over the second-place finisher and set a new outdoor PR in the process, which moved her up the program's all-time list.
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Andrea Galeano, Catholic
    March 19, 2018
    (Jr., Bridgeport, Conn.) The Catholic University of America women's track & field team opened the outdoor portion of 2018 schedule on Saturday as the Cardinals took part in the Mary Washington Opener. Junior Andrea Galeano earned a second-place finish of her own in the hammer with a mark of 40.37 meters. She also took sixth in the shot put with a distance of 9.52 meters.
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Ean Mann, Elizabethtown
    February 19, 2018
    (Fr., Hancock, Md.) Elizabethtown freshman Ean Mann broke his own school record in the 60m dash with a 7.02 in the final to win the event after qualifying with the fastest preliminary time. Mann also won the 200m dash in 23.08 and was a leg on the winning 4x200m relay. His 4x400m relay placed fourth.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Jon Anthony, Moravian
    February 19, 2018
    (Jr., Palmerton, Pa.) Moravian junior Jon Anthony placed sixth in the weight throw at the Kutztown University Last Chance Qualifier with a toss of 14.90 meters (48-10.75), a mark that was 4-10.25 further that Anthony's previous career-best in the event.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Azia Kalil, Juniata
    February 19, 2018
    (So., Clarks Summit, Pa.) Juniata sophomore Azia Kalil ran a 10:39.93 in the 3000m race on Saturday at the Susquehanna Invitational. Her time was the second best time in school history.
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Caroline Banas, Scranton
    February 19, 2018
    (So., Dallas, Pa.) Scranton sophomore Carolin Banas set a Landmark Conference indoor record by clearing 1.71 meters to win the high jump at the Marc Deneault Invitational on Saturday at Cornell. It was her best jump of the season and the third best in all of NCAA Division III this season.
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Zion Howard, Moravian
    February 12, 2018
    (Fr., Moorestown, N.J.) Moravian freshman Zion Howard scored 18 points and helped the Greyhounds to a one-point win over host NYU at the NYU DIII Invitational competed at the NYC Armory Friday. The Greyhounds finished with 62 points while NYU had 61. Howard started the day by winning his heat of the 60-meter dash in a time of 6.97 seconds, and he then finished second in the finals in a time of 6.96 seconds to earn eight points. Howard's time is the fifth fastest in school history and is currently tied for 17th on the TFRRS list and the top 18 student-athletes will head to the NCAA Division III Championships in March. Howard finished the day by winning the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.33 seconds, earning another 10 points for Moravian.
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Scott Goodwin, Moravian
    February 12, 2018
    (Jr., Sinking Spring, Pa.) Moravian junior Scott Goodwin won a jump off to capture the first place individual points in the pole vault at the NYU DIII Invitational competed at the NYC Armory on Friday as the Greyhounds earned a one-point (62-61) win over host NYU. Goodwin was tied for the second best height of the day at 4.26 meters but with the top individual an unattached athlete, there was a jump off to determine the winner to receive the 10 points to the team score and Goodwin made his attempt at 4.41 meters (14-5.5) after missing three times at the height during the competition.
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Carly Danoski, Moravian
    February 12, 2018
    (So., Clarks Summit, Pa.) Moravian sophomore Carly Danoski earned 10 team points for the Hounds after a win in the 800-meter run at the NYU DIII Invitational competed at the NYC Armory on Friday where Moravian took fourth place of 26 teams that scored and 30 total teams. Danoski raced to a time of 2:16.18, which took 2.69 seconds off of her previous personal best in the event.
